Supervisory professionals

A snowshoes guide, mountain guide or climbing instructor is assigned to you upon validation of the reservation by payment of deposit and / or balance. The latter may very well have to be replaced by another equivalent professional if necessary (illness, accident, other). This can in no case generate a request for price reduction or reimbursement or cancellation.

Cancellation – program modification – reimbursement

A collective outing can be canceled if the number of participants is insufficient: registrants will then be fully refunded, but will not be able to claim any compensation.

In mountaineering, hiking, snowshoeing, ice climbing or skiing, the weather, bad mountain conditions or the level of the participants can lead to program changes. In this case, participants will not be able to claim any refund. In the event of a change of objective, the price of the substitute course will apply.

Failure to comply with safety instructions such as participation in an activity by not respecting the level requirements (technical and physical) detailed on the technical sheet or by presenting equipment that does not comply with that requested in this same technical sheet, may justify exclusion of the client from the activity. This exclusion, pronounced for security reasons, will not be refunded.

The cancellation or postponement of an outing (for unfavorable weather conditions for example) can only be decided by the professional supervising the activity at the time of the appointment, or the day before going up to the refuge. In this case – and in this case only – the outing will be fully refunded.

If the participant does not show up for an outing, for any reason whatsoever, no refund will be made.

We cannot be held responsible for any unfavorable changes in weather conditions. In the event of stopping an activity beyond our control (weather forecast, ski lifts, field safety, etc.), there will be no refund.

In the case of a trip cancelled by the guide from a refuge, the refund is not total: it excludes a half-day guide allowance covering the ascent to the refuge (to be shared between the participants).

The guides office cannot under any circumstances be held responsible for a late or partial opening as well as a premature closure of the ski lifts and the ski area. Such a situation will not give rise to the right to any refund.
